The ladies of Kappa Mu Chapter at Georgia Southern University are hosting the phonathon for the second year in a row and we’re ready for another record-breaking year.
Money raised during the phonathon goes to the Annual Fund, the operating budget of the Foundation which is the source of financial support for leadership programming, life skills education, a portion of the salaries of the chapter consultants, management of the scholarship and philanthropy programs.
Calls will be made April 18 – 21, starting at 3 p.m. EST on Sunday and continuing each evening until 11 p.m. EST.
The caller ID will show Holiday Inn and a 912 area code – when you see the girls calling, please pick up! They are so excited, and sometimes a little nervous, to talk to you. Even if you aren’t able to give this year, take a moment to chat and thank Kappa Mu collegians for giving of themselves so tirelessly!
If there is a specific time you would like to be called, please notify Tracy O’Neal at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will accommodate your request.
Remember, your tax-deductible donation in any amount is sincerely appreciated!
The Last Song has become one of my favorite movies. I have been to see it twice and I will even pay to see it over and over again. I love that it takes place in Savannah, so I feel like I’m ‘right there’ during the movie. Liem is beautiful and Miley does a great job.
A. very. sad. movie. but. so. worth. it.
Sometimes you have to be apart from people you love, but that doesn’t mean you love them any less, sometimes it makes you love them even more….
Wow! What a true fan! Also, did you notice the people walking by and what they were wearing? WOW….
I have recently become interested more in wine because this summer while I was in South Africa I learned about the many different kinds of wine. I now look into trying new kinds every time I go to the store. One day I was looking and came upon ‘Lucky Duck’ wine. Little did I know it would become one of my favorites! It is just under $4 and has a great taste! I mean how could it get any better?! Cheap and good wine all is one is what it’s all about! And EVEN BETTER-the bottles are so cute! I love the duck on them! That is actually what made me buy it the first time! (HA!) I found it at Walmart so if you are interested be sure to try it out!
YIKES: What is Mariah Carey wearing!
First thought: HORRIBLE! I have never heard of Deborah Ann Woll, but I do know this dress looks terrible on her. This is by far the worst dress for her complexion! Someone needs to help her next time! 😉
For those of you that watched The Bachelor this season you know exactly what I’m talking about.
and pretty much everything a girl could dream of guy…
Then you have the Sausage (Vieanna):
and pretty much disgusting!!!
Ok Ok, I know this show is not totally ‘real’ but I did get a bit obsessed because I love love love Ali! She is who Jake would be with if she didn’t have to leave for her job! They were pretty much perfect together! I follow her on Twitter and I think it’s funny to see her thoughts on things…I cannot imagine how hard that would be to ‘fall in love’ with someone and then have to choose between your job or the guy. Wow, I have no idea what I would do! I guess it would depend on the job and what the situation is at the time.
So, you must meet Ali:
Cute, Fun, Spontaneous, Sweet, Real, Honest, Awesome outfits, and I could go on and on….
Thank goodness Ali is going to be the new Bachelorette! I cannot wait for the season to air this summer! I already know I am going to be hooked! I hope she finds the perfect man for her!
I do not normally believe that these relationships actually last, but with Trista and Ryan and Jason and Molly they have! I am anxious to see Jason and Molly’s wedding next week! (Although how many of the couples have not worked out…HA!) I guess I only choose to think about the ones that have worked! 🙂
How did you feel about who Jake chose? Did you like Vieanna or Tinley better?
